1988 Kansas Waterfowl - Ann C. Dohoney - Stamp Print

In 1981 Ann C. Dohoney gained national recognition by placing third in the Federal Duck Stamp Competition and became the first woman to place that high in the competition against a field of 1,507 entries.

The 1981 National Wildlife Art Show in Kansas City was her first appearance in a national show where she received a ribbon for her painting of a Canada Goose.

Since then, Ann has received two Best of Show ribbons at the 1983 Oklahoma Wildlife Art Festival and has been invited to exhibit her work at the prestigious Easton Waterfowl Festival each year since 1985.

In 1988, in addition to winning the Kansas Duck Stamp, Ann also won the Indiana Duck Stamp.
