1980 Wild Sheep Conservation - Gary R. Swanson - Stamp Print

Gary Swanson was selected by the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep to design its first Wild Sheep Conservation Stamp and Print.

Gary has been the recipient of the Franklin Mint Gold Medal; the prestigious George Phippin Gold Medal; and, at the Wildlife Artistis International competition, he has won the Judges Award, the Best of Show Award, and the Gold Medal for Oil.

He has made major contributions to wildlife conservation through donations of his original paintings and reproduction rights to the World Wildlife Fund, Game Conservation International, Safari Club International, and Muzuri Safari Club.
